From 05 to 08 September, the Argenta Fair will take place for the 67th consecutive year.

This event is characterised by lots of good live music, the promotion of local products and those from other Italian regions, the most attractive shopping opportunities, without forgetting everything that the Fair traditionally means: Luna Park, voluntary work, exhibitions, a lottery, and above all, many opportunities to meet, build community, and welcome the many visitors!

As many as five entertainment points will be set up along the Fair route: the main stage in Piazza Garibaldi will inaugurate the Fair event with the energy and great entertainment skills of the Moka Club, who will propose and involve the spectators with their "danced choreographies" to music from the 1980s to the present day, followed on Friday evening by the sports dance of Team Diablo: an explosion of sounds, costumes and skills that will enchant and excite.

The big surprise on Saturday night is Extraliscio: Mirco Mariani has given shape to a project capable of launching punk in dance halls, the music that has made entire generations dance meets guitars, electronics, rock, and pop in an explosion of sounds, irony, joy, and lightness. Since 2014 Mauro Ferrara has also joined the group; Mauro was born in Argenta, his first musical experience began at the age of 9. His career is vast: it goes from 1966 to 1969 with the orchestra "Le Ombre Nere" from 1969 to 1974 with the orchestra "Vittorio Borghesi" from 1974 with the Orchestra "Raoul Casadei" in 2000 my Orchestra "Mauro Ferrara e il Cuore Italiano" was born and since 2004 it has become "Orchestra Grande Evento"; Mauro is the historical voice of Romagna, who brought the song "Romagna mia" all over the world.

What better occasion to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the song written in 1954 by Secondo Casadei, which has toured the world and been used in so many ways, let us remember for all the choruses sung by the angels of the mud just over a year ago, a song that has become the symbol of rebirth, as well as of Romagna's strength, sympathy and identity!

The grand finale of the festival is entrusted to the overwhelming vitality of Paolo Belli and his big band: Paolo Belli and his big band will bring a new show to the stage, featuring his great classics such as Ladri di Biciclette, Sotto questo sole, Dr Jazz & Mr Funk, Hey Signorina Mambo, Ho voglia di Ballare, and many other hits arranged in a new guise, but still characterised by his unmistakable sound, the result of a journey made over the last 25 years always with his big band, a close-knit group that works with Paolo not only on stage during the summer season, but also in TV and theatre engagements. Paolo Belli's concert is music and fun, an irresistible mix of songs and words that thrills and captivates his audience, an audience of all ages that has never failed to show the Emilian singer affection and esteem throughout a career spanning 35 years.

All shows are free admission and will start at 9.30 pm.

A second performance stage will be set up in the piazzetta of the Teatro dei Fluttuanti where a captivating and high-quality programme promoted by the Associazione Incontroll'Arte will be staged: on Thursday 5, a sparkling opening with the Jukebox Party with Deluxe Band where music from the 70s, 80s and 90s will be offered with entertainment and gadgets for everyone! The invitation addressed to participants is: Glitter as dress code!

On Friday 6, the magic of the classic The Wizard of Oz will be staged in an enchanting musical show for families, presented by Incontroll'arte: Dorothy and her friends will take the audience on an extraordinary adventure that will capture the hearts of young and old alike, a theatrical experience full of thrills and wonders.

On Saturday 7 it will be Luca Guaraldi in an explosion of energy and with an overwhelming performance he will pay tribute to the greats of rock with The Great Night of Rock and Roll, an evening full of adrenaline and good music for all lovers of the genre.

Sunday 8 the appointment is with Festival dei Fiori, an emotional journey through the history of the legendary Sanremo Festival, interpreted by the singing students of Incontroll'arte to relive the most iconic moments of Italian music in an evening that celebrates beauty and talent. An event that will make all music fans dream.

All the shows will start at 9 p.m., except for Sunday's performance, which will take place at 7.30 p.m. The shows are free of charge. Table reservations are recommended with compulsory consumption (tel. 388.993.8839).

In Piazza Marconi, inside the Volunteer Village, another show stage is set up: starting at 9.00 p.m. there will be dance performances, sports exhibitions alternating with the presentation of the associations that animate the Village itself and that are the protagonists of many of the events in the programme of the event: in particular, Saturday at 9.30 p.m., after last year's great success, the evening Quelli che andavano al Nuovo Mondo with DJ Lorenz will be repeated.

In the Piazzetta delle Poste, the masters and students of the Solaris School of Music will entertain visitors in the heart of the street food route with their performances: on Thursday at 8.00 pm Cisal Pipers Trio (Irish songs & traditional) and at 9.00 pm Memory Lane (rock band).00 Memory Lane (rock band); Friday at 9.00 p.m. Blues Masters Tribute (blues-jam); Saturday at 8.00 p.m. Kaleido (pop band) and at 9.30 p.m. Steven in the Forest (rock prog band); Sunday at 7.00 p.m. Solaris Free music time, at 8.30 p.m. Gabio garante (one man guitar player) and at 9.30 p.m. Fuorni Norma Band (pop/rock band).

Furthermore, in the centre of the public gardens, the Agriturismo Vallesanta offers, in addition to its delicious valley cuisine, a musical aperitif every day from 5.00 p.m. with the Celtic band 'Siegel Senones (Thursday), the DJ set 'Fornavoce' (Friday), the 'Gang band', a tribute to Italian classics in a punk rock key (Saturday), and 'Steve&George' (Sunday).

Fiera is also food, delicious food from all Italian regions with the traditional street food on Via Bolognesi and Piazza Giovanni XXIII, and also excellent catering in the proposals of the public establishments and restaurants in the city centre that enrich their offerings during the Fair days and in the seven small restaurants that are set up along the route during the Fair: next to the Town Hall in Largo Dante the ASD Bando and La Zanzara Associations offer the Quelli di Bando restaurant with fish and meat menus, in Via Gramsci we find Il tempo dei sapori with typical local products, in Piazza Marconi, inside the Volunteer Village, the small restaurant Aiutiamoli a vivere with sweet and savoury delicacies, in the small square of the Teatro dei Fluttuanti the Associazione democratica in collaboration with Auser Anita-Campotto offers the L'ora del gusto restaurant, with menus based on typical local products, aperitifs and "pinzini", in the centre of the public gardens it will be the valley cuisine of the Ristorantino Agriturismo Vallesanta that will delight palates, while in Piazza Mazzini the Parish of Argenta in collaboration with Enoteca Burattoni and Fioreria Carantoni proposes the Ristorantino Dal Don, and finally in Piazza Giovanni XXIII we have the traditional cuisine of the Ristorantino Agrilocanda.
